Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Barback. As a crucial member of our bar staff, the Barback plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment by providing support to our bartenders and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry and grow within a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks by restocking supplies, such as glassware, ice, garnishes, and napkins
• Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar and in bar area, including clearing empty glasses and bottles off of bar and tables, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash
• Help set up and break down the bar area before and after service
• Retrieve and deliver orders from the kitchen or storage areas as needed
• Monitor and replenish inventory to ensure adequate stock levels throughout the shift
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to requests and assisting patrons as necessary
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with bartenders and other team members to ensure efficient operation of the bar and overall guest satisfaction

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic drink recipes and bar equipment
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe)​
