White Eagle Launches its Ambitious
Renovation Program
The White Eagle was founded in 1937 and still boasts original tin ceilings, dark paneling and intricate wood wall coverings – priceless relics of a glorious past. While committed to retaining it historic character, the White Eagle also wants its members and friends to enjoy the latest amenities. To blend the old and the new, we are embarking on a multiphase renovation program to restore the White Eagle to its original grandeur. So come step back in time to 1937 and see history in the making - experience the “new” White Eagle. |
The White Eagle occupies the former Father Mathew Hall, a historic Worcester landmark.
Renovations will take place in 3 phases:
Bathroom Renovation – We are completely renovating our first floor bathrooms – watch the progress [link to bathroom renovation page]. Kitchen Renovation– Our next renovation project will restore our kitchen to launch a Polish American restaurant and catering service. Ballroom Restoration – The final phase will be the restoration of our 600 person capacity Arcadia Ballroom. Members see the immediate benefits for their dues – 100% of member dues are committed to White Eagle capital improvement programs. |
