We are currently seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our kitchen team as Kitchen Staff at the White Eagle. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking delicious dishes while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic culinary environment and contribute to the success of our restaurant.

Line Cook
  • 20-30hrs/wk
  • Must be able to work evenings & weekends
  • Pay based on experience, $18-20

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces and dressings
  • Cook and assemble dishes according to recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency and quality of presentation
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, fryers, and slicers
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management to ensure adequate stock of ingredients and supplies
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate timing and execution of orders during service
  • Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety
  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, rotating stock, and organizing storage areas
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with specific cuisines or cooking styles
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures


Dishwasher
  • 20hrs a week
  • 3pm or 4pm-8pm
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday; other hours possible
  • $15/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Washes, stacks, sorts, and stores dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
  • Maintains a clean kitchen and keeps dish area organized
  • Sets up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks.
  • Maintains clean, dry floors throughout the shift.
  • Cleans and sanitizes storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators.
  • Assists in storing food deliveries.
  • Monitors trash cans throughout shift, making sure to removes full trashcans and boxes as needed and at the end of each shift.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of dry storage areas and the organization of storage shelves.
  • Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef and other managers as needed.
  • Follows sanitation and cleaning procedures.
  • Ensures that dishwashers are in working order and reports problems as they arise.
  • Assists with closing, including mopping and aiding in the sanitation of cooking and food preparation stations.
